The Importance of Outdoor Learning

At St Josephs, we are committed to providing children with an all round education, which includes ensuring that children get time to explore and experience the wonder of outdoor learning.

Children from Reception to Year 5 will get the chance to learn and build on outdoor skills, from using mallets, knot tying, whittling, sawing and fire building.

Children will also be given time to explore our woodland habitats, and tie their curriculum learning in classrooms into this magical outdoor learning area.
